Scotland 2030 Programme: the environmental context

21 June 2017 at the Scottish Parliament

The Scotland 2030 programme continues with a discussion of our environment.

A healthy society and culture depends on a healthy environment. Our relationship with our environment – our land, our sea and our water – is therefore crucial for our future. This event will explore Scotland’s cultural relationship with its environment and ask what it should look like in 2030 to ensure a just, sustainable future for us all. The discussion will be framed by new research from Futures Forum fellow Dr Stephanie Smith on how Scotland’s environment might change over the next decade and a half.

More information to follow; for more background, visit the Scotland 2030 project page.

The event is open to MSPs and invited guests. If you are interested in attending, please email for more details.
